About Gabrielle
A Swedish cultural guide, relocation partner and host.
Raised in Stockholm · Around 25 years abroad · Based in Skåne · Swedish & English
I know that a move is never just a move. It is a new address, new systems, new routines — and the question of whether a place will ever feel like yours.
I grew up in Stockholm and spent around 25 years living and working internationally, including in the UK, France and Argentina, before returning to southern Sweden in 2023. I now work between Stockholm and Skåne, helping people move to Sweden, return home and experience the country with more confidence and curiosity.
In London, I founded Scandi Mini and built it into an international e-commerce business for Scandinavian design and lifestyle. That experience taught me how much care sits behind a good welcome: the right context, the right introductions, and attention to the small details that help people understand a new place.
Today, I bring that same combination of practical thinking, cultural knowledge and personal hosting to every relocation journey and guided day. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all moves. I start with the life you are trying to build.

What sets me apart
A life lived between places
I grew up in Stockholm, then spent around 25 years abroad before returning to Sweden. I understand the excitement, practical friction and occasional loneliness of learning how a new country works — because I have had to do it myself.
A founder's understanding of Scandinavian life
More than a decade running a Scandinavian design e-commerce business gave me a lasting eye for the culture behind the aesthetic — and the details that make a place feel considered rather than generic.
Stockholm roots. Skåne perspective.
Stockholm is where I grew up; Skåne is where I have chosen to make a home. That gives me a grounded perspective on two very different ways of living in Sweden, and on the practical choices behind a move.
A thoughtful approach to adjustment
I am currently completing a BA in Neuroscience, Psychology & Sports Science. It informs how I think about stress, confidence, environment and the gradual process of finding your footing — without turning a relocation into a clinical exercise.
Languages: fluent Swedish and English · conversational French and Danish
